Make your own tiny house

  • Stackwood 10 Stack Street Fremantle, WA (map)

Price: $149

Learn the enjoyable and meditative craft of slab building to create your own tiny ceramic house. Using dark stoneware clay, I’ll guide you in assembling your piece from a starting slab and help you customise the design.

At a finished size of approximately 9x7cm, these adorable pieces make a charming addition to your home or a wonderful housewarming gift.

Place a tealight candle inside and watch the flicker through the windows, or use an incense cone and enjoy the scent rising through the chimney. The open chimney can also serve as a small bud vase—there are so many uses for your unique creation!

Important details
I will glaze and fire your piece, with the cost included in your ticket. I take great care in finishing your handmade items, but please note that clay can be unpredictable, and occasionally items may break in the kiln. This is a natural part of the ceramic craft.

Your work will be ready for pick-up approximately 5-6 weeks after the class. I will contact you when they are ready. Please note that I can hold works for up to 4 weeks from the date of your workshop. After this period, any unclaimed pieces will unfortunately be discarded.

Terms and conditions
All ticket sales are final, non-refundable and dates are non-transferable. If you are unable to make your date you are able to send someone else in your place.
